Message:   Here's a few ROUGH measurements of my 1966 440 W200 long bed Sweptline:

Please look at pictures of a long bed Swept as you read these dimensions. Tons of photos at Norms main page.

The widest exterior point from the 'swoosh' line to swoosh line is 78".

The tailgate is 66" wide and 22" tall.

The inside of the cab floor is 8', 3" X 70" across
The inside of the top oepning accounting for a lip that runs around the top of the bed is 8' 1" (2" shorter than the floor). It is 65.25" across. The tailgate is slightly wider (3/4") and appears "notched out" from the rear corner posts.

The wheel wells start 26" from the rear floor bottom and are 39.5" long.
The distance between wheel wells is 50"

Flanking the tailgate (looking from the rear) is a moulded corner cap of the bed where the tail lights sit. It starts to curve from the top at about 2", then expands for the 'swoosh' and ends at about 5" wide at the bottom.

Let me know if you need more info.
