Message:   Unquestionably the 383 is in my opinion the best, easy to work on, get performance equipment, tons of torque, rev's like no other big block, it's the lightest big block with the exception of the 400's, internally balanced, set up properly they are screaming and reliable motors.
All the other big blocks come right in second place in my opinion to the 383.
The least desirable engine Chrysler ever built to me is the 426 Hemi.
