Message:		It isnt' just mileage but wear and tear on tires and parts. I don't thinkn I have ever seen a 75 to 79 Dodge or chev 4x4 that didnt' need front ujoints everywhere. It might be strong but the fact alone that it needs aftermarket parts to work better makes it a junk pile in my opinion. It was a money saving maneauver that failed so they went back to part time in 1980. The laycock mod could get expensive but with fuel at 8 bucks a gallon in UK it might not take long to realize the savings if driving frequently. an od added might get a 3 to 5 MPG gain.
