Message:   I have done quite a bit of logging over the years on and off. Grew up in Washington State (Western side) and all we had for heat was wood. If I remember right we would drag out of the woods cut and "hand split" about 6 or 7 cords. I think I got a new ax every Christmas...LOL I enjoy doing it but boy will it make you old feeling rather quickly. Running a saw mill is somthing that is an art and practice makes almost perfect. I will have to provide some pics if ever remember to take the camera with me.
