Message:		OK here is the deal, i wanted a inside-the-cab hood release. i thought it would be easy i didnt want to do anything i could not reverse. i bought a hood release latch and cable form a 01 dodge ram (e-bay 20 bux) i was planning on mounting it to the hood and using the existing striker plate..BUT NOOOOOOOO! so i made numerous plated and tested em all untill i arrived at this combo....works well here are alot of pics. the truck is a 70 D 200 i can send you a 1:1 copy of the plates just e-mail me it works good, it looks good and it was worth the effort, heck i work at a public agency, they paid me to build it any questions just ask
