Message:		Hi Jim Are you referring to the plate that sits atop the lock and retains the tumblers and springs? I just pried it out with a sharp screwdriver. I dont know if thats the correct way but it worked for me . I did refit it to check that it would work and it did. By the by I have one working at the moment. I did as suggested by Russ and omitted one set of tumblers. I dont imagine any one stealing the truck they couldnt afford the GAS!!!!!!!!! Cheers now John
