Another 56' question/observation

When I looked at the pictures from the forum link showing the door jam tag, the 55' C-3 has lower net and gross horse power. My 56' tag marked C-3 states 101 net and 111 gross HP. Also Mopar parts list 1947-1956 book makes no mention of a C-4 model and the book is dated April 30, 1956. That is almost half way through a model year? Any thoughts?
