I'm the 3rd owner, When it was new,A man Had a dark room on the bed, he shot x-rays of a pipeline he was laying across Indana,He had a side boom dozer, a welder and a Power Wagon I was told by the 2nd owner, a Norman Florey of Mt.Shilo Arkansas,Which is several miles from the Buffalo river. He Bought it in 1951 and put a new motor in it, It is taged as a 51 but i think its a 1946, buy some of the oldtimers I have talked to thru the years. Norman had it jack'd up down by his barn, I saw it for several years, befor I asked him one spring day in 1976 if he would sell it to me,, He let me have it for 750$. I had just sold a piece of property and had some extra cash, I went to town, Jasper Arkansas and found me 4 Supper Mudders 1100 X 16" Tyres, They were slighty used by the forstery service and i got them for $ 1000, Last year i put 4 new tyres on, Thoes fat tyres lasted 33 years, The only reason i got rid of them was because they had some dry rot, and I had been driving the P.W. a lot loaded down with potatoes, a big cast iron pot, cooking sap. fire wood ect.
