Purchased new by my uncle in Seattle. He removed the Express box and installed a 1.5yd St. Paul dump box in the early 50's. The truck was used for deliveries by him and his brother in their sand and gravel business on Bainbridge Island. They last licensed the truck in 1973 and was used by them on their family homestead until the early 80's. They spruced up the truck in 1985 with cab and box paint, purchased Goodyear NTDs, glass, weatherstrip,and re-covered the seat cushion but never installed all the parts. I bought the truck with 32kmiles from the surviving uncle in Feb 1999 who later passed in 2000 with the agreement that the truck stay in the family.
