This truck was purchased new by the Green Valley Lake, California Volunteer fire department and was later passed to San Bernardino County as a brush truck. The county auctioned it off as surplus at which time it was purchased by a group of three retired firefighters who had used it from time to time during their service. Over time they each passed away and the truck was sold by the last firefighter to a close family friend who used the truck (gently) in service at a mountain camp/retreat facility. I purchased the truck from him in December 2011 and the truck is running strong and driven regularly to this date!
