Original Ohio oil an gas truck , orange in color. Had a PTO driven valve turner in bed. Owned by a farmer in Ohio for the last 40 years , he repainted the truck brown, and used the truck to haul hay from the fields to the barn . Have original owners manual, photo copys of titles from the two previous owners. On January 28, 2012 Charlie in PA sold the the truck to Wayne Hillenbrand in Davidsonville Maryland. When I got the truck home, I couldn't start the engine, but after removing the old fuel and puttig some fresh gas in she started right up and ran fine. The body and bed of this truck have been restored, but the engine has not. The trannsmission has new seals, but leaks like crazy, along with the transfer case. Update as of 19 Feb 2012: removed and cleaned radiator. Cleaned water distribution tube. Installed Coolant filter. Put T-stat in. Guess what? Doesn't get hot or over heat any more! This sounds easier than it was. Removing the radiator is not a ten minute project since the truck is painted. That took a lot of effort and required and engine hoist to lift since I can't do it alone... Update as of 20 July 2012: I've done a lot of mechanical work! New brake cylinders. I rebuilt the transfer case. Rebuilt the NP420 transmission. Installed new clutch and throw out bearing. Had the carberator rebuilt at Glen Burnie Carberator. Had the intake and exhaust manifolt planed and then ceramic coated. Trucks seems to be running quite well, the maximum temperature I've seen it at so far is 190 degrees, and that is when it was 100 outside. I also had the front springs re-sprung at R+S spring in Bladensburg. Installed new shocks and spring bushings, along with new hardware on the front springs. Truck rides pretty good now!
