I acquired the truck from Mack Sheesly for $400 2 years ago or so at a yard He owns at
25th ave & the I-10/I-17 stack NW corner , Western trailer leasing / ABF freight , He
said it belonged to James Bond trucking & then went to Reliance crane's yard & they
lifted well casings with the winch and a "gin" ? pole , a long tripod setup of which the
mount brackets are still bolted through the bed to the frame & brackets behind the winch
& I am going to remove them soon the transfer case & glass is missing but the engine runs
smooth & quiet , no smoke or blow-by . the truck has been repainted tan & has Southwestern Engineering Co. stenciled on the doors , so with a transfer case and drive
shafts which Vintage Power Wagons can supply Me with & windshield glass at least I'll be
driving it . By the way this is all in Phoenix AZ & it doesn't have a speck of rust out.
it's probably been here all it's life . -Andy-
