I bought it 1 town over and drove it home. This was about 5-6 years ago. I traced the history back about 3 owners. The guy I bought it from bought it from the local building inspector who's father used it in his construction business probably in the 60s-70s. The inspector told me a story of how they used it to anchor and pull their bull dozer out of a frozen lake/pond it was sinking in ( with the winch).
