Had GREAT brakes!
I rebuilt the whole system, replacing EVERYTHING but the drums, and it stopped well in modern traffic.
I was a little nervous about the single master, but I figured if it lasted over 40 years, it would work again for my limited needs.
I agree with you Clint, do the brakes right, and you are fine.
If I was to do serious mudding, then I would get discs, just to make it easier to clean off the mud.
