The only possible problem in what you are considering is the rotation of the PTO shaft. For example, if the winds in over the top (preferrable) when the PTO shaft turns clockwise then it will wind in from the bottom when turned counter-clockwise. This may or may not present a problem, but you can test the rotation of everything before you set it up. Jerry Henry
