I understand the reasons why you are making a photographic record of the restoration - those are excellent reasons. I would pay more for a vehicle and have more confidence if such a photographic record existed. Also - I bet it is easier to keep track of things with the photo archive.
We all get to benefit since you are taking the time to post them where we can see them. Went back to your pics today and seen your new nickname! :) Jungle Truck it is!
