They were compareable to truck/heavy duty 727s as far as the internals, but had a dedicated IH bolt pattern for the engine. This was cast into the bellhousing, so there is no way to interchange IH and Chrysler version 727s without changing the entire tranny case.

PS I used on bolted to a 266 IH v-8 to repower my 1952 Dodge M-37. Worked great.
