the carb kit was just a basic kit, but I did buy a brand new can of carb cleaner and soaked it for 4 hours, I'm gonna get a can of starting fluid today to search for air leaks, I think I'll also try by passing the balast resistor and see what that does.
thanks for the input....interesting about your carb needing to be warmed up also...
