My engine, a flathead 6, is not original to the truck....the intake and carb is different and I can not hook up the stock throttle cable/shaft inside the cab(carb is turned the wrog way)....HOWEVER, the local bone yard has a truck WITH an engine that does have the correct intake and carb (might be the same carb ???) so that I could hook up the throttle knob.....if I'm gonna spend $150 on a rebuilt carb, Im thinking it should be that one(the carb)....I'll check it out tomorrow..Thanks for the input
