Oh well, I guess I must be wrong, all the books I have read, all the trucks I have checked, I must have just missed this little tidbit.
To my understanding 61-65 1/2 Dodge trucks use the 7 1/2 foot stepside bed, and 65 1/2 up use the 8 foot stepside bed.
FF PWs use the 8 foot bed from 46-68, but that is the only truck I know of that came with the 8 foot stepside bed pre 1965 1/2.
I would be very interesed to hear more about this truck, and the others you found, pictures, VIN numbers etc.
Maybe you found a rare stash of SEG trucks?
