Need 420 New Process

Well Looks that of all my spare trans which are 3 they are all pre 58 so they wont work.
i do not have a 420 to look at , are they the same spline count, as the earler tran.
can i just change the bellhousing and use the flywheel clutch assembly on the 251 with the older trans.
Got to get this old Girl moving under her own power.Thanks, all help will be greatly appreciated.
