All the snowblowers I have seen on trucks, use a auxilliary power source mounted in the bed to drive the blower. Otherwise, the speed of the blower will change as you change the speed of the truck, and stop when you push in the clutch. I think you need to have that blower going at full speed all the time even when you stop or it will jam up.
