Congratulations. In my town, there are about 2500 people, and there are about 25 of these trucks, from '89's to 92's. Back in 1992, we were asked by the dealer to line them up for a photo, but we never could get it together. It woulda been fun.
Mine is a '91, with "only" 150,000 miles. It will pull anything - Period. Heaviest to date: a cement truck with ten yards, up a slippery metal ramp, 25 degree inclination, from a ferry boat. Estimated weight of truck was 150,000 pounds.
My manual transmission gets me 21 mpg around town, and over 25 on the highway, at speeds in excess of 70. When it rains, my highway mpg goes to almost 27. (Water injection works!)
Remember, it's just a Dodge, but with a real engine. I have never gotten the brakes to work right, yet. Plastic parts are falling apart, like the dashboard. There is rust along the front roof, right above the windshield, that they wouldn't fix under the 100,000-mile rust-through warranty. It is a typical problem, according to my body guy.
