You need to lock the bead when running low presure to increase traction in extreme conditions, the tire will flex and grab giving a wider foot print in difficult conditions. Both beads need to be locked, does not do much good if outside bead is locked and inside slips off and you lose air and have to try to get it back on. They are not used by powerwagon as a rule due to the sturborn resistance to actually use the trucks where jeeps, chevys, fords, internationals, newer dodges with lockable diffs regularly travel. The ffpw and m37 are catching up but it will be slow go, that is why you will not see a powerwagon on cable TV on sunday! Nobody has discovered they would be a real truck with 20 inch rubber and locking diffs except for a very few who actually use the truck off road, aka bob Kelly, Daniel tiblus, john Echidoff, etc,buy some from usa6x6 and please yourself, nice beadloks and 20 inch rubber like marty has done below.
