Many years ago when I drove a truck for a living I was on my way from Kansas City to Des Moines. It was about 6:00AM, starting to get light, and I hit a deer. I assumed that what was left of old Bambi had just passed under the truck and I planned to pull over later to inspect the damage. Shortly thereafter I noticed oncoming traffic flashing their lights at me. (I usually kept the CB off). I decided to pull off the road after half an hour or so and found that Bambi was impaled on one of the big old tow hooks on the front of my IH Eagle. Even though Bambi was DOA, I still had a HECK of a time lifting that deer off the tow hook.

I also had a friend that was driving a Freightliner cabover and a wild turkey came through the passenger side windshield. Plenty of damage, but the worse part was the stink.
