There I was driving down the traffic loop. Minding my own buisness in my 46 PW driving with the Over Drive engaged(55mph@2400RPM)With the windshield out thinking If MoparNorm could see me now he would throw all his sweptlines out. The fly in this ointment is that is 5 pm and there is major SUV overload all driving 85mph@ 500rpm and a good supply of rock buckets and construction contractors thrown in for good measure and the power wagon refuses to get out of the igits way. And I go along withit hummin Rollin Rollin Rollin. Well as I exit and start to slow down a bird is standing in the middle of the exit ramp and he unaware of the Rocket like speed the Wagon has obtained and flys away too late while not alarmed at first,( In the past all animals had escaped long before I arrived including certain turtle species native to Texas roads.) it became apparent that the BIRD WAS NOT GOING TO ESCAPE. He must have hit my large (not factory cattle pusher bumper some of you are aware of my farmer installed bumper) and the upper left area of my nose cone. An explosion of feathers still working murdered bird pieces and stuff came at me through the bottom 3 inches of said windshield. I being federally trained reacted in a timely way and ducked behind the dash as feathers blew out windows and created much entertainment for my fellow commuters on their way home. I lived through it and I thought I re live it for your entertainment. I hope no one minds this bit of drivel
