I nearly put one of these in my 1949, but it is long enough that it will make the intermediate shaft really short. I have IH 304 v-8 and bellhousing with an IH T-98 4 speed trans. The IH bellhousing is very long front to back so maybe with the Dodge 318 and bellhousing it will fit better. Let me know if I can help at all. I also have lots of IH drivetrain parts, so if you need tranny parts, I might be able to help.
