Question Dose the 230 engine have a tube for the dip stick?

I did not have a Tube in my block for the Dip Stick? I think I remember seeing one on the command car engine. Dose the 48 PW 230 have a tube that sticks up from the block? If it dose dose anyone know how long it is supposed to be above the block? I made a tube to fit in the hole but did not know how long it needs to be. I could put the oil in and see what the dip stick said flush with the block. Mark H.
