How has everyone everyone sandblasted the frame, and what do you do about the insides of the crossmembers? The Swivel is back down to a rolling chassis, I am replacing the two rear cross members, but the front one bothers me, should I pop that one off also? I dont think I would be doing this truck any justuce if I did'nt rebuild it to last another 100 years.
The place where I take it will blast it and dip it and epoxy primer tank.
I have given serious consideration as to how I'm going to rebuild it. I think since I want to drive for serious off road use as it was intended, for safetys sake, I'm going to install a dual circut brake system and front disc brakes. I am also considering power steering, but I'm not sure if the PS will work with the "under the floor" mounted power brake system. Any input on this? I will keep the original 230 ci, and put on a split exaust manifold. I just like the way the dual exaust sounds out of a six!
