Electric-Hydraulic pump seal question?

I just installed a used lift gate, now the pump seal leaks. Does it take a neoprene seal, or do they use a ceramic gismo like an air conditioning compressor?

And in my searches, I found 24v units for pallet jacks in Graingers, they'd work on M-37's for plows, but they mount vertically.
