When I went down last in 1990 or so in my 1969 Pete, there was a truck that attempted to make that LAST corner a little too fast. He LUCKILY did not go over, instead he laid it on its side and slid to the edge. Coming down, you could just see the entire bottom of the 18 wheeler sitting on the edge. That was about 2:00AM when I passed.
