Let me get this straight??? A WDX is the Power Wagon?
A VC has Power Wagon on the hood, a WC has Power Wagon on the hood, a WDX has Power Wagon on the hood, a W has Power Wagon on the hood, a P has Power Wagon on the hood, etc, etc, etc.
Your post if I read it right says only the WDX is a true Power Wagon and needs no other explaination to it's era or designation except "Power Wagon" and all the other 4-wheel drive models of Dodge trucks need to be designated by there series and Power Wagon to correctly make reference to them. Using the slang term FF for a series of a Power Wagon is not honoring the true Power Wagon.
In my opinion Dodge labeled a truck in 1941 "Power Wagon" for a reason to tell who ever read the word Power Wagon, it stood for a truck that can haul a powerful load anywhere in the world and this particular truck happened to be 4-wheel drive. I don't think Power Wagon in itself stands for one era, series or shape of a Dodge truck it stands for line of 4-wheel drive trucks that have all proven to be Power Wagon's.
I think making reference to any Power Wagon by FF, PG, W, Sweptline, etc, etc, is by no means not honoring that era of a Power Wagon and thinking that the WDX era is a true Power Wagon and needs no other explaination, makes it sound like it's above all other Power Wagon's that Dodge has built over the years.

In short "Power Wagon" means a lot more than one era of Dodge Trucks!!!
