Originaly came from california and they used the engine number on the title. The engine number matches the 1948 year of production. Engine number T137-11185 and Vin number 88759896 so it is real close if not the original engine. It all falls into the 1948 year codes for the two. I have the old title registration for it from way back. But your right this will be restored but not original anymore. Mark H.
