I bought the truck from the Lawrence Livermore Lab - thats the place they design the nucs. It has a U.S.A.E.C. serial # sticker on the left kick panel and the right door exterior still has the govt lettering - "ATOMIC ENERGY COMMISSION". I installed 750x20 duals on it. I built a 1/4" diamond plate flatbed. Truck weighs 8300# empty.
I loaded 4'x4' concrete slabs to haul across town. Total load was 6 tons - 12,000# of concrete, over 20k gross weight. Spring bumpers still were not on the axle, little over an inch to go, shit those are stout springs!!!
