This one is a 7 ft bed in length. The back of my frame had crap welded on it to hold the old bed. kind of messed up the ends. I unbolted the stock cross member and slid it forward to between the rear spring mounts and bolted it in there useing the spring mounts bolt holes and the ones on the cross member. The holes were real close! I will be removing the 12 inches off the frame and the rear tire clearance will be the same as the front from the bumper. The bed is 12 inches shorter than the stock bed but longer than the 6 ft beds on a short bed truck. I know I will get jumped on this but I wanted more clearance to go up aganist a hill in reverse. You have a good eye and was wondering if that would be noticed. Mark H.
