The reason I say this is there were no Factory flatbeds on the WC trucks. A IH bed could be thought of as a "flatbed" with raised up sides as you described to me. Many open cab trucks got a enclosed cab up here because of the cold weather. I think the IH 1 tons had a 4.88 gear ratio and could be dualed.
