Yeah, I know a lot of crabby people who have their rear ends out of alignment, too. :@
Seriously, the problem I had with my old F350 was the dowel pin on the bottom of the spring set had gotten worn down and the u-bolts were a little loose, allowing the dowel to literally jump out of the hole in the spring perch, causing a serious "crabbing" situation. Of course when I mention "Ford" around here, everyone will get crabby. ;)
