After replacing all the wheel cylinders from rust (after fixing one twice), I went with the DOT 5. It totally eliminated the problem where your brake fluid disappears if your truck sits. It is pricey stuff,(almost cried during system flushing) but worth it in the long run. The neat thing about it is it does not sweat water. DOT 3 fluid will condense water, which works it's way to the lowest level of your system-your cylinders!
