The '68 Hood is the same design as the '61-67, BUT the bottom edge that contacts the grille is flat. The ealier hoods have the edge that countours to the different shapes of the grilles up top. Most people dont know this. If you use a '68 hood on a early 67 back truck, it will not close quite right.
