When I had Snake River Rod & Custom, doing GM Saginaw steering columns, we used to sell them to BUMMER in Salt Lake City for their coversions. One day I went down and gave Alan Bowes a call and we went over and visited them. They were putting the fiberglass bodies on 3/4 Chevs or Dodges. Talking to the owner, they were designed so that common Hummer parts could not interchange, such as the AlleyCat out of TX. They way they did not get sued. Alan and I, being 4x4 oficeonados, ( I can't spell for s---) were not impressed. They were running on a shoe-string, and I remember one sour deal with one of their customers. I have not a clue what ever happened to them. They were good with fiberglass. Tom
