i think i figured out from these posts and the total weight of the sides, head board and cross members comes out to about 250lbs. thanks for your help guys. i even think i've got it so that i can have it shipped here to boston area for about $160 using forward air and another shipper. i even get to drive 2.5 hours to boston from maine to pick it up. i'll put up pictures when i get it. thanks, brian
