If the master cylinder is like the older models (single circuit) make sure
you didn't adjust the rod that goes from your pedal to the master cylinder
too far in. There is a small bleed back hole that allows brake fluid to
come back into the master cylinder when you let off the pedal. If the push
rod is too far in, the rubber cup will cover this hole and nothing bleeds
back, leaving pressure on your brake cylinders.
After sitting it will eventually bleed back down thereby giving you
"normal" pedal feel when you first start out.
