I have this problem. I have this shaft to go between the Transnission and Transfer Case on my 48 PW. This is a slip shaft off the WC 1/2 ton but it will not match up to my universal joints. The ones I have on the Transmission are wider? Do they make a universale that is longer on one side or are they only a even + ?? I have a Yoke that can go on the Transmission to fit this Shaft but I also must change the one off the Transfercase too. What I am missing is 2-large universal joints and the female recieving end of the Yoke that hooks to the transmission universal. It is just like the one with the Cap and seal in the picture but uses a larger type universal joint. Will the 1/2 ton type adapt to work?? Thanks, Mark H.
