Just a note to advise that you keep a close eye on any flexible fuel lines in your prized vehicle!!! The new 'gasoline' (sic) formulas have a tendancy to eat up the rubber fuel lines!! Fires can happen!! I had two near disasters in the last two days!! First was when I was preparing to send away my 1942 GMC CCKW 6x6 Army firetruck... after getting things ready, I had it warming up..(had not run it in two years!) Looked under the hood to see gas spewing from a steel braided fuel line!!! Got that one fixed!! Sent the truck to Boise and it's new home! Then, today, while taking advantage of the newly aquired parking space, I fired up (no pun intended!) my 1967 W200 and noticed the clutch was down, so opened the hood to fill the clutch MC, and again!! Fuel spewing out by the carb intake!!!
Same problem!! Crystalized rubber hoes failure!! While...got it fixed, all is well for now!!! I lucked out, hopefully you will too!!! Check 'em every time you run 'em!!
