I found a '52 dodge 1 1/2 ton with a 25" motor (head) so I'm guessing its a 251. It doesn't have vacum advance and I'll have to get an oil pan with a rear sump. The dipstick is in the oil pan, not the block. Is the vacum advance all that important and is the dipstick usually on the block or the pan of a power wagon ? I gotta buy the whole truck w/ dump bed pto etc to get the engine, bell houseing, trans etc for $250. I've got no idea how much it may cost to rebuild this sucker either. Any comments on any of this will be greatly appreciated.
