5" of snow here. (Finally, we need the moisture). Heavy winds made for 4 foot and greater drifts. Had a 4 footer about 20 feet from my garage door. I hit it on the first run and more than half of it rolled back over the top of the "Good Roads". Didn't stop the truck with a rear locker and all fours chained up. The '47 acted like it didn't even know the snow was there.
It makes me wonder, if we can get 4 foot deep drifts out of 5" of snow here...how deep do the drifts become with 40+" of snow out East?
You had better turn up the heat. I expect 80 degrees and sunny if I come in June!
