Thanks for the tips.

Any time the air cleaner is off. I have a hand held 40bc fire extinguisher on the ground next to the vehicle in the driveway. I also have a garden hose turned on and the sprayer end next to the vehicle in the driveway. Checking rough running, hot engines, electrical problems, fuel leaks, etc always has the possibility of a fire that can spread very quickly if not knocked down in the first few seconds. It just takes an extra five minutes to give youself the extra "troubleshooting" tools you need for the job. I also carry a door mounted extinguisher for on the road stuff.

Heck, in my younger days, I turned a long screwdriver red hot by setting it down on top of the battery posts. Got out of that one with just a minor burn.

Besides, you don't want to be the first one on the forum to admit that you burned a Power Wagon to the ground while troubleshooting a "little" problem.

Best Wishes
Lonnie
