Congratulations on your success!! Sounds similar to other "band-aid" jobs that worked so well for me that I just kept them when money was tight.
R-e-a-l-l-y impresses the girls when you have to explain that you either have to park on a hill (to roll start) or pop the hood to bypass switches - or why you have a residential wall light switch mounted beneath your dashboard!!
