There is one of those sitting up by me. The axles are "Hyster" (as I recall) and they are geared super low. They used the reduction gear hubs like the old marmon-herringtons. The engine in the picture is a 230 industrial six and they run a 4 speed with a fluid coupling like forklifts. Top speed on these is about 45 even with the 9X20 NDCC's. Axles are not "overshot" like the M35 but rather front loaders. I don't know how you'd get away from the reduction gearboxes on the axle ends but you might be able to get your road speed up by adding 14X20 michelins if you're serious. I wanted one for dirt play but they weigh like 8,000 lbs.
