Moparnorm and beeville boy. I have to disagree. When you first posted your concern I felt a little sorry that you got flamed so bad and I felt a little guilty due to my part in the drivel, however now that you yourself bring it back up (inviting more drivel) I will speak my piece.

#2 This is a well established forum (read been around awhile) There are new folks coming in all the time and the old timer's have always been helpful to those asking questions (even if they are the same ones we answer all the time) We have all been there!
So I don't think anyone gets overlooked when they ask legit questions. There have been a few very stupid threads caused by some very moronic people who have nothing better to do than cause an uprising in the group (titles and such drivel) All and all though I think the jokes add camaraderie and a next door neighbor type of atmosphere.
If you want a very serious board there are many others to choose from! I can send you a list, informative but boring! I always know I can put the joke away, ask a serious question and it will get answered! No matter what! That's why this forum is as entertaining as it is, great guys and gals getting together (just like the rally's) and shooting the breeze talking about PW's and our kids or dogs .
Now I contribute to this forum monetarily (as well as you Glen, you fellow belt pulley member) and I will continue to so that it stay's just the way it is. I figure if and when I step over the line JOE will reel me back in and tell me I did wrong! Contrary to popular belief JOE has a damn fine sense of humor (I mean he even lets the guys from TX in!) And I also know he gets a kick out of a lot of the drivel!!
Come summer time there will be a more serious board due to everyone working on their trucks (especially the ones without garages) and asking questions. Also we will loose a number of posts due to everyone being busier now that nice weather has come.
Yes this will be archived for future posters to read back on! It also will be a nice way to look back on a fellow PW nut that has left us in death (now I know none of us want to think about that but) If I was to die tomorrow I would want people to remember me by my smiles, smart ass comments, and the friends I left behind. I would want my wife to show the kids how much this forum and you guys meant to me by letting them read the past forums and see how much fun I had and how many friends posted in reply not just that dad knew a few things about Dodge trucks (big deal!) And if they wanted to in the future they could follow in my footsteps in the love of these trucks and also post to the forum and hopefully someone here would remember me and flip the kids some good-natured crap about their old man!
Holy cow…. That's the longest post I have ever posted without flaming a Texan (they do a pretty good job of being flamers themselves ;) )
